Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that we are situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Lunaapeewak and Attawandaron Nations. The Peoples of these respective Nations have longstanding relationships to the lands of southwestern Ontario and the City of London.

Further, we convey that we value and have deep appreciation for the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations and all of the Original peoples of Turtle Island (North America).

Inclusivity statement

Montessori Academy is committed to maintaining a learning and working environment in which everyone’s human rights are respected. It does not discriminate or permit any discrimination on grounds of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, family status or disability.

Application process

We truly believe a Montessori education provides children the “best start in life” by putting the child first. Every aspect of the curriculum has been developed to serve the needs of our students.

Our Programs

Montessori is child-centric education designed to help children reach their fullest potential – at their own pace. Its real-world approach inspires a love of learning and readies students to study, work and live successfully in the 21st century.

At each level of our programs, students are provided guidance by highly trained educators whose goal is to observe and “follow the child” on his or her journey.

Montessori Academy offers a continuum of traditional Montessori programs for toddler, preschool, Elementary and Junior High students that are enhanced by specialty programs in Art, Physical Education, French and Music. Extracurricular programs such as Athletics, Community Involvement and Montessori Model United Nations provide our students even more opportunities for social, physical and intellectual development.

Giving & Getting Involved

As an independently funded school with not-for-profit charity status, we rely on the gifts of our families, friends and community partners. Whether you volunteer at a school event, share your expertise in the classroom or participate in our Annual Appeal, each gift supports something unique in London: traditional Montessori education. We are grateful for each and every gift, no matter what size it is or shape it comes in.
